Toptal finds freelancers from across the world and does an intensive screening process. They are well known for offering freelance developers for contracted employment. Recently Toptal launched a whole new network geared towards freelance designers.

Adobe MAX 2015
Adobe had its annual Adobe MAX event recently with a great bundle of new and exciting projects that are under development. Below are a few that stood apart from the pack.
Project Faces
Project faces is a new way to think about finding or tweaking typography for any type of project that requires it. The technology allows you to change various types of typography elements on a typeface to match your needs. You can then export the font in multiple formats. This tool looks extremely promising to the modern-day typography addict.
Extract Shading
Altering images requires designers to pay careful attention to lighting and shading. Adobe announces another project underway that extracts shading and lighting from one element in your design and allows you to duplicate it to other elements.
Designing with Data
Adobe’s new Project Comet is a UI design tool that allows you to both design and prototype. A new feature unveiled in the video linked below is to design with built-in data. Anything from names, dates, locations, and addresses and more. You can use built-in data or add your own.
ZURB: Motion UI
Zurb recently launched a new kit for adding motion to your projects. The kit is based on Sass. It allows you to add animation and motion with ease rather than having to define it yourself which in my own experience can be a pain due to multiple browser support.
