How to Design and Code a Product Landing Page - Part 17
Part 17 of How to Design and Code a Product Landing Page deals with refinements to the product landing page's styles.
The first half of the video is spent adding custom options page via Advanced Custom Fields to your WordPress admin area. Within an options page, you can create custom fields for use practically anywhere on your website.
I like to add any globalized content types to an options page. A good candidate for this is social media links. In this video, I built out the options page, add the custom fields for the social links and finally propagate those fields with content.
Tightening Up
Before we tackle handling how the design looks on mobile devices I continue in the last half of the video tightening up any inconsistencies in the design. Once this is complete the next two videos are spent making the landing page responsive.
We are winding down to the end of this series. If you've made it this far I thank you so much! I hope it's been useful to see a project from start to finish. It was a lot of work but I plan to offer more content like this to come.
What would you like to see?
Before I decide for myself for future content I'm curious about what you would like to see. Site builds? Technologies explained? Design tutorials? Let me know in the comments!
